MAC FAB LTD was born from a lifelong passion for animals and a career in heavy engineering.
Founder Maia Coster, a competitive rider and fully qualified Heavy Fabrication Engineer, noticed a gap in the New Zealand market: a lack of truly durable, locally-designed stable and shelters for horses and lifestyle animals. Many options were flimsy, imported, or simply weren't built to withstand the rugged Kiwi climate.
Maia knew she could do better. By combining her technical expertise with her "boots-on-the-ground" experience, she developed a structural solution that prioritizes safety, longevity, and versatility.

Logan Racing Stables , Byerley Park, have recently installed a block of 4 Horse Boxes that were constructed and erected by Mac Fabrication Ltd.
The Stables are very well built , strong and galvanised for longevity and a good size .
We built a base of 100 mm crushed and compacted Limestone covered in a layer of sand and Mac Fab arrived with a Hyab Truck and erected them in 5 hours.

Opting for the clear light panels over the standard option has been a fantastic choice — providing a dry, warm environment during winter, while allowing the sides to be easily removed in summer.
